Raipur Becomes India's First City To Build A Micro-Forest, Wants To Create An Oxy-Zone

Chattisgarh’s Raipur is going in the opposite direction of a tall vertical building to forests by planting trees on vacant land. In fact, they are going one step further and creating their own microcosmic forest

The Better India reported that the District Collector of Rapir, Omprakash Choudhary, and his team are reforesting parts of the city.

According to the report, the trees are going to be planted in the heart of the city where traffic tends to get heavy. A huge commercial project was being proposed there.
