Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) has decided to conduct Painting Competition for School students as a part of International day for Biological Diversity and World Environment Day celebrations 2015. The WED theme for this year is "Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care."
The painting competition will be held on 22nd May 2015 in Four levels, i.e. Lower Primary (LP), Upper Primary (UP), High School (HS) and Higher Secondary (HSS). The venue of the competition will be at Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom at 10.00am. The registration will start at 9.30am. Participants who are interested to participate may register their names in advance through email envkerala@gmail.com or over phone 0471-2548210. The winners will be awarded cash prizes during World Environment Day Celebrations on 5th June 2015.
Guidelines
1. All school students of Kerala are eligible for entry
2. The competition will be held at Four levels: LP, UP,HS, HSS
3. Drawing sheet alone will be provided by the organisers.
4. Water Colour and crayons can be used for colouring
5. The theme for the painting competition will be disclosed at the venue. There will be separate theme for different levels.
6. All participants of the competition will be given a participation certificate
7. The cash prize includes prize money of Rs 1500/- for first prize, Rs 1000/- for second prize and Rs 500/- for third prize in each category.
8. The painting competition would commence at 10.00 hours and would be for two hours duration. The competition would end at 12.00 hours.
9. All paintings must contain the following details at the back of the drawing sheet (i) Name of student (ii) Class and Division (iii) Full school address (iv) Father/mothers name (v) Telephone of parents
10. The participants should bring age proof or identity card at the time of verification
11. Participating students shall report by 9.30hrs.
